1.Raw material

The main material of wheel hub assembly is high-strength medium carbon steel and bearing steel.
Their starting form is round steel, which is then cut into small cylindrical shapes for forging.

2.Forging

Process Forging:
Through the huge forging equipment, we forge the previously cut cylindrical steel into blanks for the parts of the wheel hub assembly.
Pressure: 600~1600 Tons
Temperature: Thousands ℃

3.Turning

Carry out primary processing on the forging blank, mainly by turning.
So that the accuracy of its important dimensions can meet the subsequent processing requirements.

4.Heat Treatment

Heat treatment is a process that can increase the strength of steel, improve the internal metallographic structure, and improve the plasticity and toughness of steel.
The heat treatment of wheel hub assembly is a partial heat treatment, mainly for the groove, which is divided into two processes of quenching and tempering. Among them, quenching is used to increase the strength of the metal, and tempering is used to increase the toughness and plasticity of the metal.
When you see black uneven marks on the product, don’t worry, this is not an appearance problem, it is due to the marks produced by the heat treatment process.

5.CNC Drilling

There are various holes on the wheel hub assembly. In the earliest years, they were mainly drilled by hand using a bench drill. There may be various small problems, such as position deviation, missed drilling, or missed threads, etc. .
Now all our products are drilled by CNC, which has higher precision and better accuracy. Because they are controlled by computer programs, the stability of product quality has been obviously improved.

6.Grinding

The core position of the core component is further processed and polished, with the highest precision required to reach 0.001 mm.
At the same time, the roughness and smoothness of the product will be greatly improved to ensure product quality and ease of installation in all aspects.

7.Cleaning

This is a professional ultrasonic cleaning machine that integrates ultrasonic cleaning, drying and demagnetization. Even very fine dust can be completely removed to ensure that there are no impurities inside the product.
All accessories must be cleaned twice before they can officially enter the assembly line for assembly.

8.Semi-Finished Product Assembly

After all the core components are polished, our assembly workshop carries out final assembly. Through various sub-processes, all the accessories are assembled into an assembly.
The processes involved include cleaning, clearance detection, grease injection, press fitting, riveting, etc.

8.1 Riveting

Rotating riveting is a relatively special splicing process. It applies huge pressure to the components in a rotating manner, causing the metal to deform, and then connects two originally scattered components together and is difficult to separate.

9 Inspection

When the product assembly is completed, we will conduct a series of inspections on the final product, including but not limited to: size inspection, position inspection, appearance inspection, etc.
Among them, ABS testing is a very important test. This test requires 100% inspection of every product.
